I have a serious case of loathing whenever I see calla lilies. I have looked at so many bouquets that were perfectly lovely except for the calla lilies in it. First of all, they remind me of funerals. Second, they're ridiculously expensive. And last - they look like they eat bugs. Look at one! They look just like pitcher plants. I get this scary urge to chuck pieces of hamburger into them whenever I see them!
